Changelog · October 06, 2026

Agents can drive a browser, and record what they did

Screenshots show what a page looks like. Browser sessions let an agent use it.

What's new

  • browser.* tools. An agent opens a headless browser, reads each page as an accessibility snapshot, and acts on elements by the refs in it: click, fill, select, press, scroll, wait, switch tabs.
  • Video. Open a session with record_video and every tab it opened is kept as a video.
  • Traces. Open it with trace and you get a Playwright trace of every action, with the page's DOM at each step and its network requests. Traces open in Playwright's trace viewer, served by Murmurator, so they stay in your account.
  • Browser sessions page. Every session, where it ended up, and its recordings, under Browser sessions in the sidebar.
