Integrations / Content
Confluence
Search Confluence with CQL, read pages and their comments, and create, update and comment on pages.
Tools
confluence.search
Search pages, blog posts and comments with CQL. Returns each match's content ID (a number like 123456789), title, space and a plain excerpt; url is relative to base.
confluence.list_spaces
List spaces with their numeric IDs, which list_pages and create_page need. Space IDs are numbers like 98306; keys are short codes like ENG.
confluence.list_pages
List the pages in a space, without their bodies. Page IDs are numbers like 123456789.
confluence.get_page
Get a page with its body in Confluence storage format (XHTML) and its current version number, which update_page needs.
confluence.list_comments
List a page's footer comments with their bodies in storage format.
confluence.create_page writes
Create a published page in a space, under the space's homepage unless a parent is given.
confluence.update_page writes
Replace a page's title and body. Get the page first: version must be its current version number plus one, and the body replaces the whole page.
confluence.add_comment writes
Add a footer comment to a page.
confluence.api_get
Send a GET request to any Confluence API path under https://{site}.atlassian.net/wiki and return the response. For endpoints the named tools don't cover.
confluence.api_request writes
Send a POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE request to any Confluence API path under https://{site}.atlassian.net/wiki.
Tick Allow raw writes on the connection to add api_request, which can send POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests to any Confluence API path.
Connect
- Sign in at id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens and choose Create API token, the classic kind without scopes. Tokens with scopes only work through api.atlassian.com, not your site's address.
- Paste the email of your Atlassian account and the API token on the connection, and set the site to the first part of your Confluence address, e.g. acme for acme.atlassian.net/wiki.
