Integrations / Messaging
Gotify
Send push notifications through your own Gotify server to its Android app and web UI, and read, list and delete the messages it holds.
Tools
gotify.list_applications
List your Gotify applications with their integer IDs, which send_message takes as app_id, and default priorities.
gotify.send_message writes
Send a push notification as one of your applications. Returns the message's integer ID.
gotify.list_messages
List the messages on the server across all applications, newest first. Pass paging.since as since to read older ones.
gotify.list_application_messages
List one application's messages, newest first.
gotify.delete_message writes
Delete one message by its integer ID.
gotify.api_get
Send a GET request to any Gotify API path under https://{host} and return the response. For endpoints the named tools don't cover.
gotify.api_request writes
Send a POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE request to any Gotify API path under https://{host}.
Tick Allow raw writes on the connection to add api_request, which can send POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests to any Gotify API path.
Connect
- In the Gotify web UI, open Apps → Create Application and name the application the messages should come from, such as Murmurator. Its ID appears in list_applications.
- Open Clients → Create Client, leave it to never expire, and copy the client token (it starts with C and is shown once). Gotify 3.0 or later lets a client token send messages as any of your applications, so this one token both sends and reads; Gotify 2 can't send with it.
- Set Host to how Murmurator reaches Gotify: a public https address such as push.example.com, or, for a server at home, its tailnet name and port such as http://gotify:8080 with a tailscale connection named as the Tailnet.
