Tools

supabase.list_projects

List projects with their status and region. A project's ref is 20 lowercase letters like abcdefghijklmnopqrst, and every other tool takes it.

supabase.get_project

Get a project by ref, with its status (ACTIVE_HEALTHY, INACTIVE for paused, COMING_UP and so on) and database host.

ref*

supabase.get_health

Check whether a project's services are healthy. Returns each service's status: ACTIVE_HEALTHY, COMING_UP or UNHEALTHY.

ref*services

supabase.query_read_only

Run a read-only SQL query against a project's Postgres database as supabase_read_only_user and get the rows back as a list of objects. Name every table with its schema, e.g. public.orders.

ref*query*

supabase.run_sql writes

Run any SQL against a project's Postgres database as an admin, including writes and schema changes, and get the rows back as a list of objects. Use query_read_only when you only need to read.

ref*query*

supabase.list_migrations

List the migration versions applied to a project's database, oldest first.

ref*

supabase.list_functions

List a project's edge functions with their slug, status and deployed version. Times are milliseconds since the epoch.

ref*

supabase.get_function

Get one edge function by slug.

ref*function_slug*

supabase.query_logs

Query a project's logs with ClickHouse SQL over one logs table, filtered by source_name: edge_logs, postgres_logs, function_logs, function_edge_logs, auth_logs, storage_logs, realtime_logs or postgrest_logs. Without a time range it covers the last minute; a range can span at most 24 hours.

ref*sql*startend

supabase.get_advisors

Get a project's advisor findings, such as tables without row level security or unindexed foreign keys, each with its level (ERROR, WARN or INFO), detail and remediation link.

ref*kind*

path*params

  1. In the Supabase Dashboard, open Account → Access Tokens (supabase.com/dashboard/account/tokens), choose Generate new token, name it and copy it. It starts sbp_ and isn't shown again.
  2. Paste it as the connection's access token. It reaches every project in every organization its owner belongs to.
