Integrations / Analytics
Umami
Query Umami traffic for any period, top pages, referrers, countries and events, pageviews over time, and how many people are on a site right now. Works with Umami Cloud or your own instance.
Tools
umami.list_websites
List the websites the key can read. Website IDs are UUIDs like 4fb7cd4a-ba4e-4a9e-8d6b-1f8c23e4a8f0.
umami.get_stats
Get a website's totals for a period: pageviews, visitors, visits, bounces and totaltime (seconds), with comparison holding the same totals for the previous period.
umami.get_pageviews
Get pageviews and sessions over time, as lists of {x: time, y: count} points per unit.
umami.get_metrics
Rank one dimension for a period, such as top pages, referrers, countries or custom events, as rows of {x: value, y: visitors}.
umami.get_expanded_metrics
Like get_metrics, but each row carries name, pageviews, visitors, visits, bounces and totaltime (seconds).
umami.active_visitors
Count the people on a website in the last five minutes.
umami.list_events
List a website's individual pageviews and custom events for a period, newest first: eventName (null for pageviews), urlPath, pageTitle, referrerDomain, sessionId and createdAt.
umami.api_get
Send a GET request to any Umami API path under https://{host}/{api_path} and return the response. For endpoints the named tools don't cover.
umami.api_request writes
Send a POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE request to any Umami API path under https://{host}/{api_path}.
Tick Allow raw writes on the connection to add api_request, which can send POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests to any Umami API path.
Connect
- In Umami, open the profile button in the side nav → Settings → API keys and select Create key. Copy the key; it is shown once. Self-hosted Umami offers API keys in recent versions; on an older one, POST your username and password to /api/auth/login and paste the token it returns instead.
- Paste it as the connection's API key. For Umami Cloud, leave Host as api.umami.is and API path as v1.
- Self-hosting? Set API path to api and Host to how Murmurator reaches Umami: a public https address such as stats.example.com, or, for a server at home, its tailnet name and port such as http://umami:3000 with a tailscale connection named as the Tailnet.
